Demonstrating your support for the IMPA ACT Supplier Code of Conduct online is free, save for auditing-related costs if carried out by the IMPA Office.

What you will have to do

Becoming an IMPA ACT supporting supplier can be done either by partnering with one of your existing customers (a ship owner or ship manager) that is an IMPA ACT Purchaser Member. You will have to:

  • Collaborate with your customer and the IMPA ACT team, and implement systems to mitigate adverse impacts on the principles of the IMPA ACT Supplier Code of Conduct;
  • Contribute with insight when asked, unless you reasonably cannot;
  • Advise and Cooperate when you are ready to be evaluated or audited, so the evaluation can be carried out by your customer (i.e. the IMPA ACT Purchaser Member).
