About IMPA ACT

IMPA ACT is an independent initiative aligned with UN principles that seeks to improve the economic, social and environmental compliance of its ship purchaser and supplier members. The IMPA ACT community consists of ship purchasers and suppliers that work towards alignment with the initiative’s model code of conduct, both internally and within their supply chain. By moving from a mass of individual company-created codes and systems to an industry-wide initiative, shipping companies and their suppliers are saving costs and time, while being part of a constantly-developing programme that represents best practice and is aligned with international expectations on CSR.

Later update: Coffee morning turns out to be a real success

With representatives from companies such as DS Norden, J. Lauritzen, Uni-Tankers and many more, the IMPA ACT coffee morning has proven to be a real success. As event organisers, we were very pleased to see the sustainability efforts that so many companies are already making and how keen they are on uniting to drive sustainable practice and align conduct with universal principles on human rights, environment and anti-corruption. We hope everyone's questions were answered.
