The CSL Group joins IMPA ACT

May 7, 2019
The CSL Group Inc., a leading provider of marine dry bulk cargo handling and delivery services and the world’s largest owner and operator of self-unloading vessels, joins IMPA ACT to get the edge on managing its supply chain responsibly.

After an exploratory phase in setting up a responsible supply chain management system, CSL Group finds and joins IMPA ACT, the industry's RSCM system for maritime buyers and suppliers. CSL Group, headquartered in Montreal, is a private Canadian shipping company that owns and operates a fleet of specialised self-unloading vessels and bulkers. The company delivers more than 78 million tonnes of dry bulk annually through its divisions in Canada, United States, Europe and Australia. In particular, it carries iron ore, grain, coal, salt, aggregates and sugar.

To find out more about the CSL Group and the reasoning behind joining the initiative, follow this space, as we will be soon catching up with Miss Caroline Denis, the company's Environmental Programmes Manager.
